Creating Your Own Flashcards on the NotifyWord Website and Android App
Flashcards in the app can be imported from other applications such as Quizlet, Google Translate, text, Excel files, the NotifyWord website, or photos using OCR.
In the app and on the website, you can create new flashcard sets, add flashcards individually, and import flashcards from text where there is a separator between the term and the definition. The separator character can be changed.
Example of importing flashcards from text where a "-" is used as a separator between the term and the definition; flashcards are created/imported in the same way on the website and in the app.
Paste the text and choose the appropriate separator between the phrase/translation or term/definition.
Creating Flashcards Made Easier with OCR (Applications for Text Recognition from Images)
1 Drag the image with text and receive just the text.
2 Format and paste it into the Android app or the website in the import section to create flashcards.
3 After importing the ready-made flashcards into the Android app, you have flashcards that read themselves and display in various ways.

Importing Flashcards Created on the Website into the Android App
Flashcards can be imported by pasting the link to the flashcards or using the built-in search feature in the app. Choose the category name where you want to import, search for flashcards or provide the link, and click the import button.
The flashcard category name can be changed in the app on the flashcard list screen by clicking the action button, where the option to rename the flashcard category will appear.
Creating Custom Flashcards Using Artificial Intelligence from Images and Photos
In a chat with ChatGPT, we paste an image or photo containing text for flashcards and give the following command -
"
make a list of flashcards, without extra symbols or lines, in the format -
'front-back
front-back
front-back'
"
Sometimes, you may need to specify or format the flashcards to suit your needs.
Create a new set on the website, paste the generated flashcard list into the import tab, and import it.
Then import it to your phone, so you can go for a walk, shop, and study at the same time by listening. Once you’ve learned some, you can mark those flashcards as mastered and continue learning the rest.
